People can say what they want about New year’s “resolutions”, but I’m here for them. Why? It’s a good place to hit the reset button. Maybe it’s just me, but life gets a little busier from Halloween until the new year. And I love that time of year, so I love to immerse myself in the all the holiday goodness. It just makes sense that once it all settles down that I get myself back on track. Nutrition and physical activity have been very inconsistent over the last couple years and this is 30. And 30 is not as forgiving as 20. Aside from the weight gain that I’ve seen creeping up over the last couple of years; I work in cardiology and I know all to well how poor nutrition and a sedentary lifestyle affects your overall health and well being. So, I am recommitting to my health because I love myself!

We are 15 days into the new year and I barely made it to my first workout of the year.

Yep. Not a single one before today. I’m not beating myself up about it. I felt like I needed to rest. So, that’s exactly what I did. I’ve going non stop for the last 2 years and I earned a couple weeks of doing the bare minimum. I chose to begin with focusing on nutrition. And although Keto seems like the cool thing, I opted for a 30 day cleanse. If you suffer from any type of inflammatory condition, I highly recommend it. It’s a great way to flush out toxins that promote the inflammatory processes in your body and allow your body to heal. The first week is always the most difficult. Day 6 was the first day I didn’t actively daydream about licking a block of cheese. God knows I love cheese and I can’t wait until we are reunited. But I made through the first week strong! Someone placed a piece of lemon bundt cake (which I love) in front of me and I had zero desire to eat it. The next 3 weeks should be smooth sailing.
There are a ton of cleanses on the market. If you are looking, choose one that allows to eat actual food. Juice cleanses are for people that want to be hungry and homicidal. Trust!
I chose the Arbonne 30 day cleanse. Yep. I’m one of those people who isn’t afraid of MLMs. I know you are all shook. You probably avoid your friends that use the hashtags-side hustle and boss babe, but not me. If it’s a good product that works and I’m going to use. I’ll buy it.

I chose Arbonne for a few reasons. First and most importantly, it’s stupid easy. You purchase the 30 day cleanse kit and it comes with all the supplements and meal replacement business needed to succeed. It’s straight forward. Comes with a checklist of dos and don’ts. All you have to do is grocery shop for your snacks and meals. You have a choice of doing 2 shakes and 1 meal or 2 meals and 1 shake and in no particular order. You can literally still eat Chipotle. Yes. CHIPOTLE. With some modifications of course. But you aren’t going to fill extremely deprived and that is a huge plus for me because I don’t do well with deprivation. And lastly, the cost is fairly reasonable. I believe it comes out to about $240 for all the goods. Initially, I felt like that was really pricey. But it comes out to about $8 per day. I’ve actually saved money. And it also came with an additional 2 free products. Free goodies when I’m already purchasing something is a major perk and I am a skincare FREAK; so free eye masks and a facial resurfacer got me like

Like anything else in life, you get out of it what you put into. I should be omitting coffee, but like a true addict, I refuse to give it up! But I still feel great and I am seeing great results! If you are looking to do a cleanse, do some research! You need to find the right thing for you! It needs to be achievable for YOU to be successful! If the Arbonne cleanse interests you, you will need to order it from a consultant. I’m sure you know at least one! If you want to get it from someone who is not going to constantly try to up sell or ask you to host a party. Let me know. I’ll hook ya up! Whatever you choose, do it for you! Just remember that it’s not a punishment, but an act of love! Happy pursuits!
